A leading international organisation is expanding its procurement capabilities and is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – IT & Indirect to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and support business growth across its German operations.

This is a key role where you will shape IT and indirect procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to cost optimisation and digitalisation projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the procurement lead for IT and indirect categories, including software, hardware, cloud services, office supplies, and professional services
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and technology goals
• Lead supplier negotiations, RFx processes, and contract management, ensuring compliance and best value
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and global teams
• Identify new suppliers, monitor vendor performance, and drive continuous improvement
• Support digital transformation initiatives through strategic sourcing solutions
• Contribute to process optimisation, cost‑saving, and efficiency projects across IT and indirect procurement

Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, ideally in IT and/or indirect categories
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage complex sourcing projects independently
• Fluency in English and German (B2)
• Analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT Management, or a related field
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe
