We are on a journey of continuous growth – now we recruit a full-time Product Developer – Lighting and Electrical (m/f/x).

As an Electrical Engineer / Electronics Technician, you have already gained several years of professional experience — ideally in a manufacturing environment. You are able to familiarize yourself with technical challenges, analyze customer needs, and are motivated to develop solutions for lighting and other electronic components for the caravan/outdoor industry. This includes both the development of new products and the maintenance and optimization of existing products. You will accompany the entire product development process from the initial concept to serial production.

Your Main Responsibilities

Your strong understanding of components and technical parameters is applied effectively in product development. You approach new challenges with an open mind and work closely with stakeholders and departments on national and international projects, keeping their requirements in focus. As a hands-on professional, you are well aware of the requirements for smooth assembly at the customer’s site. You also maintain an eye on the economic feasibility of your solutions as well as the technical data. This includes supporting the testing of new product solutions at the interface with testing laboratories and independent authorities for product testing and certifications.
Excel is a standard tool for you. You handle technical data management, including bills of materials, datasheets, initial sample inspection reports, compliance requirements, and other technical documentation. You also record changes regarding price, materials, and products in the ERP system. You utilize prototype construction to prepare for customer presentations and serial production, including procurement, assembly, documentation, and functional testing. As a team player, you communicate updates to the relevant departments and act as a point of contact for your team regarding required changes to products and accessories. You coordinate weekly with colleagues from engineering, sales, and plant management

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

Completed electromechanical or electrical engineering education/training
Several years of professional experience in an electrotechnical environment
Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
Experience with compliance and conformity requirements is an advantage

Produktentwickler/in Beleuchtungen und Elektro (m/w/d)

Als Elektrotechniker/Elektroniker haben Sie bereits einige Jahre Erfahrungen gesammelt - idealerweise in einem produzierenden Betrieb. Sie können sich in technische Problemstellung einarbeiten, Kundenbedürfnisse analysieren und haben Lust darauf, Lösungen für Beleuchtungen und sonstige elektronische Bauteile für die Caravan-/Outdoor-Industrie zu entwickeln. Dies beinhaltet sowohl das Entwickeln von Neuprodukten als auch die Pflege und Optimierung von Bestandsprodukten. Dabei begleiten Sie den gesamten Produktentwicklungsprozesses von der Idee bis zur Serie.Ihr gutes Verständnis von Bauteilen und technischen Parametern setzen Sie in der Produktentwicklung geschickt ein. Neuen Herausforderungen stehen Sie offen gegenüber. Sie kooperieren und arbeiten eng mit Stakeholdern und Abteilungen in nationalen und internationalen Projekten zusammen und haben deren Bedürfnisse im Fokus. Als Praktiker sind Ihnen die Anforderungen einer reibungslosen Montage beim Kunden bestens bekannt. Die Wirtschaftlichkeit Ihrer Lösungen verlieren Sie nicht aus dem Blick; ebenfalls die technische Datenlage. So begleiten Sie u.a. die Prüfung neuer Produktlösungen an der Schnittstelle zum Prüflabor und mit unabhängigen Kontrollinstanzen für Produktprüfungen und Zertifizierungen.Excel ist für Sie ein Standarttool. Sie bearbeiten das technischen Data Management, einschließlich Stücklisten, Datenblätter, Erstmusterprüfberichte, Konformitätsanforderungen und sonstiger technischer Dokumentation.Auch im Warenwirtschaftssystem bilden Sie die Veränderungen in puncto Preis, Material und Produkt ab. Sie nutzen den Musterbau für die Vorbereitung von Kundenpräsentationen und Serienfertigung inkl. Beschaffung, Aufbau, Dokumentation und Funktionstests.Als Teamplayer kommunizieren Sie Neuigkeiten an die Fachabteilungen. Andersherum sind Sie Ansprechpartner für das Team, wenn es um Änderungsbedarf an Produkten und Zubehör geht. Hierfür stimmen Sie sich wöchentlich mit den Kollegen aus Technik, Vertrieb und Werkleitung ab.
