Product Line Manager – UHT Equipment

Join JBT Marel as our Product Line Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our advanced Ultra‑High Temperature (UHT) processing solutions worldwide.

Based in or connected with our Amsterdam location, you will work at the heart of a global organization, collaborating across regions to drive product excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

As Product Line Manager , you will translate customer needs into technical solutions, ensuring the highest value of JBT products is delivered worldwide. You will provide technical expertise and support to sales teams and customers, and coordinate complex quoting processes involving non‑standard equipment.

Responsibilities

Identify and clearly communicate the customer value of JBT products to customers and sales teams.
Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and accurately translated into product specifications.
Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of JBT products, including their relationship to other product lines.
Train Account Managers on new products and features to enable them to effectively advise customers.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
Uphold JBT Marel’s values in all your activities.
Coordinate complex or multi-equipment quoting processes from start to finish.
Support Account Managers and Business Development Managers with technical questions and pricing.
Conduct tests with customers and estimate additional costs for adaptations or non‑standard installations.
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure product specifications and timelines meet customer expectations.
Conduct site visits with Account Managers for layout design and finalization of quotes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the role of Product Line Manager – UHT Equipment is a highly motivated, technically savvy professional with a global mindset and a passion for customer‑focused innovation. You thrive in a complex, cross‑functional environment, combining deep technical knowledge with strong commercial insight.

You possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of UHT equipment , their applications, and relevant industry standards and regulations. You deeply understand customer product requirements and can translate them into optimal technical solutions. With an innovation‑driven mentality, you strive to exceed customer expectations and think strategically and holistically to identify long‑term opportunities and value creation for the customer.

You are also experienced in customer management, capable of building and maintaining strong, sustainable relationships. You are flexible and willing to travel internationally to customer sites. You can translate complex technical details into accessible information for non‑technical stakeholders and have excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers, engineers, and operational teams. You are capable of troubleshooting in real‑time and providing effective solutions during customer interactions.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
Significant experience in product management, sales support, or technical leadership within the food processing or related industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex equipment or product lines in a global context.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction through technical leadership.
