Stellenbeschreibung:

Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and management of our Apps, Monitoring portal and APIs. The ideal candidate has a strong background within apps, working in agile teams, and a passion for renewable energy. You own the customer journey for both installers and end-users and can rely on support from skilled colleagues worldwide to deliver an excellent user experience across our app, portal, and other HMIs. Likewise, you will manage and develop the API portfolio, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate the mobile‑app and monitoring portal product vision in partnership with PM leadership, ensuring alignment to company goals.
  • Drive the annual and quarterly road‑mapping process, incorporating hardware integration requirements, market trends, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis in the solar/renewables space to surface new opportunities and validate product direction.
  • Gather, synthesize, and prioritize customer and partner feedback (surveys, interviews, usage data) to inform the feature backlog.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including UI/UX design, software development, marketing, and sales to deliver high‑quality products.
  • Author clear product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with engineering on release planning, manage product lifecycle milestones, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget launches.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for apps and portal (e.g., daily active users, task completion rates) and drive data‑backed optimizations.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and results to stakeholders through regular reports and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager for mobile apps, preferably in the solar, renewable energy, or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated record of launching and scaling mobile apps (50K+ users or equivalent impact).
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX best practices and hands‑on experience with Figma or similar.
  • Deep knowledge of agile product development (Scrum/Kanban) and backlog management tools like Jira.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs, API versioning, and working alongside engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; adept at stakeholder alignment across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision‑making.
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.

Attributes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated and performance‑driven.
  • Can‑do attitude and hands‑on mindset.
  • Proactive, dynamic, solution‑oriented, and customer‑focused.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to be part of a spirited and diverse team of passionate experts within an exceptionally open‑minded environment.
  • Support for personal and professional growth within an international setting that leverages your abilities, skills, and expertise.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast‑growing Solplanet team with flat hierarchies, rapid decision making, and strong opportunities to cultivate a long‑term path within the renewable energy industry.
