Amazon is looking for passionate, versatile, and curious Product Manager Interns to join our teams across various business units. You will work on product innovation and improvement initiatives that directly impact our customers and drive business growth worldwide.
As a Product Manager Intern at Amazon, you'll dive into a dynamic environment that empowers you to solve complex challenges, develop cutting-edge products, and make a meaningful impact across diverse business units.

- Product Strategy: understand how product roadmaps are created and participate in prioritization discussions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: observe how teams work together and practice communication skills with guidance.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: learn basic product metrics and how to interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Market Analysis: assist with competitive research and understand how Amazon positions products.
- Development Process: experience agile methodologies through observation and participation in team ceremonies.
- Go-to-Market Approach: gain exposure to product launch processes and understand team collaboration.
Key job responsibilities
- You will collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to develop comprehensive product strategies.
- You will conduct in-depth customer research and market analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- You will define and prioritize product requirements using data-driven insights.
- You will analyze product performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- You will support the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- You will create clear, comprehensive product documentation for cross-functional communication.
- You will participate in strategic product review sessions with leadership.

Internship Start Dates across the year: 
We are hiring interns to start on standardised dates from January through July.  
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently in your penultimate year and working towards a university bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
- Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) lasting from 3 to 6 months with a start date between January and July.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and German (Common European Framework of Reference C1 or equivalent).
- Analytical skills with advanced level in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros).
- Basic understanding of product management concepts and customer-centric thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills with innovative solution development.
- Experience with product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, user story mapping, wireframing tools).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership experience through academic projects or extracurricular activities.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Technology and market trends curiosity.
