This Position reports to:

Responsibilities
- As a Product Manager in the local sales unit, you'll be responsible for ABB low voltage Machinery and Servo Drives portfolio in a high-tech environment and will be responsible for the entire product life cycle.
- You will support our sales team and closely cooperate with the global product and market management.
- Strategic and commercial aspects such as product and price positioning belong to your responsibilities.
- By doing so you will contribute to success and our customers’ satisfaction. Do you want to help shape the success of our world-leading ABB low voltage drives?
- The working time model for this position is: Hybrid
- You are mainly responsible for:
- Support sales unit in visiting the customers with salespersons, technical clarifications, presentations, sales trainings and sales campaigns
- Close cooperation with LV Drives factory regarding feedback about local market, competitor observations, customer requirements and trade shows
- Insure transfer of product know-how from factory to local sales unit
- Launch new products on local market, define target segments and applications, organize pilots, position and manage prices, take care of sales materials and sales trainings
- Support marketing activities, write articles, create videos and external webinars as well as attend conferences and trade fairs
- Attend meetings at relevant associations (e.g. ZVEI and VDMA) and represent ABB Motion Germany
- Support onboarding new sales staff in introducing product portfolio and relevant sales tools

Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree, preferably with a focus on electrical or industrial engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales, sales support or product management in the field of variable speed drives technology
- Application knowledge of variable speed drives is highly appreciated
- Strong customer and market orientation, very good communication and persuasiveness skills
- Openness to new media and technologies
- Fluent in German and English language
