The Role

In this role, you will lead the strategy and lifecycle of a defined product portfolio within the Energy BU. You will be responsible for driving product innovation, ensuring financial success, and aligning cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that meet market needs. This position requires a mix of strategic thinking, business acumen, and hands‑on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to update product roadmaps
  • Develop business cases for new projects and resource allocation
  • Manage the full product lifecycle—from ideation and launch to end‑of‑life
  • Drive innovation and new product introductions based on Voice of the Customer (VoC)
  • Monitor portfolio performance (revenue, margin, market share) and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure successful execution and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Support pricing strategies and margin optimization

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical discipline
  • 7–10 years of product management experience in a global B2B environment
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with proven ability to manage complex projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex topics for stakeholders
  • Experience with P&L responsibility and budget management
  • Energy industry experience (Renewables, Utilities, Commercial & Industrial) is highly desirable
  • Ability to build trust and influence across a matrixed organization
