Product Manager – Affordability / Promotions Domain

We are on the lookout for a Product Manager to join Affordability/Promotions Domain within the Quick Commerce team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

The Affordability domain within Quick Commerce Growth Product line is at the forefront of enabling customers to discover and unlock value through targeted, relevant, and compelling promotional offers. Our mission is to build scalable, high‑performance systems and tooling that empower internal commercial teams and vendor partners to orchestrate and execute promotions efficiently.

The team is responsible for the full promotion lifecycle, from planning and configuration to eligibility, promo application, and real‑time execution on storefronts. This involves managing large‑scale data ingestion, complex decisioning logic, and a Tier 1 service451 ensuring reliability, speed, and conflict‑free handling across millions of SKUs globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • User‑Centric Approach: Develop a deep understanding of customer journeys for discovery and value unlocking, identify opportunities to improve relevance and targeting of offers, and translate user insights into actionable promotions strategies including quality and planning.
  • Drive Business Impact & Opportunity: You will identify and prioritize new opportunities to drive customer engagement and commercial growth through promotions. By leveraging data and a deep understanding of the business, you will define and execute strategies that maximize the value of promotional mechanics and channels.
  • Drive Promotions Tool Roadmap: Define the vision and strategic roadmap for highly technical, data‑driven systems that power promotion creation and management. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives, commercial opportunities, and customer experience goals.
  • Partner with Engineering & Data Science to Build AI‑Powered Systems: You will be a key partner to engineering and data science teams in building and deploying machine‑learning models and autonomous agents that run the promotions platform and collaborate closely with engineering and data science to implement scalable promotions systems and leverage data pipelines that support adaptive data strategies for displaying offers.
  • Experimentation & Testing: Drive A/B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses, optimize the presentation and effectiveness of promotions, and assess the impact of new mechanics and targetingโปรโมชั่น. You will also define and monitor the technical setup for experimentation, ensuring data integrity and reliable results.
  • Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with stakeholders across Platforms, Data, UX, AdTech, Catalog, Vendor Portal, and commercial teams to align promotions strategies. You will be able to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, influencing decision‑making and building consensus.

Qualifications

  • Product & Domain Expertise: 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in q/e-commerce, retail, or marketplace environments, with exposure to pricing, promotions, or incentive systems. You should demonstrate a proven ability to lead product initiatives from conception to launch, balancing customer needs with commercial goals.
  • Technical Acumenفاعل: Ability to engage deeply with engineering to define requirements for scalable promotional platforms. You should be comfortable discussing system architecture, API design, and data flow to ensure solutions can handle large‑scale, high‑frequency events and are future‑proof.
  • Growth & Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with data to define success measurements, troubleshoot issues, and assess the commercial and customer impact of promotions. You can independently analyze data to identify business opportunities, optimize strategies, and drive outcomes.
  • User‑Centered Approach: Experience building internal tools and/or B2B2C solutions that balance operational efficiency with a strong customer impact. You should have a deep understanding of customer behavior and be able to translate those insights into actionable product strategies that improve offer relevance and unlock value.
  • Cross‑Functional Influence: A track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders (commercial, engineering, data science, design) to align on complex initiatives. You can clearly articulate the business value of technical projects and manage expectations across the organization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with rules engines, pricing and discounting systems, or promotion orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with large‑scale, high‑frequency transaction systems (e.g., marketplace, quick‑commerce, or high‑volume retail).
  • Understanding of experimentation frameworks and personalization engines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
