Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Resistors Belgium is currently seeking applicants for a Product Marketing Engineer . You’ll be part of an enthusiastic team of experienced product engineers. Your role will be a point of contact for customers looking to design-in the right product that will shape the future.

Vishay Electronics GmbH in Selb is the European headquarter and development and production site for passive components. Since 1996 as part of Vishay we have been manufacturing resistors and capacitors. These electronics components are used in medical, entertainment and automotive electronics, among others. With around 900 employees, Vishay plays a key role as one of the most important employers in our region. The town of Selb is located directly on the Czech border and boasts the scenic surroundings of the Fichtelgebirge.

Vishay Resistors Belgium is located “Rue des deux maisons/Twee huizenstraat 37/1, 1140 Evere” and is a full part of Vishay Intertechnology since 2002. This location has a strong competence in developing and producing ceramic thermistors (temperature sensitive electronic component). In addition, the site comprises several departments with worldwide responsibilities and interactions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Understand the customer requirements and propose the right product offering
• Assist and coordinate new product introductions and maintain the existing product life cycle
• Assist defining product pricing policies across the markets and regions
• Strengthen product design in by visiting customers and by organizing technical workshops
• Analyze the market trends and perform benchmarking
• Work on brand/product awareness by preparing technical product documentation

What You Will Bring Along

• Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electronics
• Product application knowledge, resistors related product is preferred
• Fluent in English and German (Dutch or French are a plus)
• Understanding electronic circuits in Automotive or Industrial applications is preferable
• High communication and presentation skills
• Structure and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and work in an international team
