We are the Tech & Data Department of Thomann. We are a good mix of developers, system administrators, designers, product owners, data engineers, data analysts and many more. Whether from our offices in Treppendorf, Erlangen and Berlin or remotely: We work every day to create a seamless and inspiring user experience for Thomann customers online.
We are looking for a Product Owner (f/x/m) to join our Thomann App Team called Appic. You and your team will focus on everything that touches the app, which includes the whole app shopping experience. You will be collaborating closely with the other product owners of the web teams and also with stakeholders from other departments, such as marketing, customer support, purchase management & logistics.
Be part of the Appic team consisting of 1 designer, 1 engineering manager, 3 developers and 1 quality engineer
Identify problems and opportunities within the app and solve them with a data & insights driven approach
Create vision and roadmap for the app
Keep stakeholders in the loop and work across departments to ensure the best solutions for our customers no matter their touch point
Motivate and inspire people by being your honest, authentic self
Be the team’s rock if it gets a tad stressful around Christmas or Cyber Week.
Own the backlog, overlook the development process, and understand as well as communicate your team’s decisions.
3-5 years of experience either in a product management or ownership role
Extensive knowledge about common e-commerce KPIs as well as experience in planning, executing and interpreting A-B-tests
Good grasp of UX and economics and be brave enough to interview customers directly
Experience with agile processes and methods as well as motivation to develop them further
Proficient English language skills (C1) and fluent in German (C1).
An affinity for apps and their unique characteristics and trends
Our daily work happens in Notion, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Google Analytics, Figma and Github
We communicate via Slack and collaborate via G-Suite and Miro
This team works in 1 month release trains
