Product Sales Manager, Balance of Plant

Valmet seeks a Product Sales Manager, Balance of Plant who will act as a technical expert for power plant technologies, responsible for the Balance of Plant and turbine part of the sales project.

Location: Vantaa, Finland or other business locations such as Tampere, Raisio, Darmstadt, Vienna, Warsaw, Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

You will develop and define technical concepts with the sales team, create balance calculations, and prepare technical specifications for turbine and balance of plant equipment.

Support the project team during execution, especially in the main equipment procurement process.

Your main responsibility is sales phase activities, with opportunities to participate in execution or warranty phases.

Qualifications

• MSc in technology on thermal, energy and environmental, chemical or process engineering.
• Over ten years of relevant experience. Knowledge of power plant processes, especially turbines and related auxiliaries is a key competence. Know‑how on power boilers is an asset.
• Work experience in a similar position within the industry is highly appreciated, or experience gained from power plant execution projects or working for a turbine manufacturer.
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written; Finnish and other languages are a benefit.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
