Product Security Engineer at STARK

Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Engineer responsible for helping STARK operationalize IT Security requirements throughout the organization, as well as coordinating with the CISO and externals on BSI certification.

Responsibilities

Support STARK in operationalizing IT Security requirements throughout the organization.
Implementation of IT Security policies.
Develop and execute rules and concepts on IT Security (hardware & software).
Work alongside the CISO on IT security implementation.
Advise Project Managers on IT security questions.
Help achieve ISO 27001.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes.
Dive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems.
Constantly challenge requirements to determine what adds value and what doesn’t.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or a related field.
At least 4+ years of experience as an IT Security Engineer.
Possession of ISMS certification.
IT Security experience in the tech, aerospace, or defence industries.
Up to date with the latest IT Security advancements.
Successfully participated in the acquisition of ISO certification.
Experience working/implementing IT Security plans.
Platforms‑as‑a‑service and authentication management experience will be considered a plus.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to travel as needed.
