Your Responsibilities
- Provide expert support to customers and colleagues on complex application‑related topics from the company's location in Ratingen.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure optimal use of the organisation's solutions—both remotely and on‑site throughout Germany.
- Offer professional consultation to optical clients on devices, technologies, and integrated solutions.
- Develop and conduct product training sessions and workshops, online and in person.
- Support the sales team with technical expertise, installations, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing structured feedback to internal product development teams.
- Assist in the planning and execution of trade fairs and professional events, and represent the company at these occasions.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training or further education in ophthalmic optics, or a degree in optometry or medical technology.
- Strong practical experience with ophthalmic devices (e.g., refraction, diagnostic systems).
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for customer engagement.
- Willingness to travel nationally within the region (approx. >60%).
- High level of technical affinity, with confidence in handling networks, cloud‑based solutions, and software systems.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent spoken and written German.
- Advanced English skills for international communication.
