Private Bank Germany Service Operations - provides 2nd Level Application Support for business applications used in branches, by mobile sales or via internet. The department is responsible for the stability of the applications. Incident Management and Problem Management are the main processes that account for the required stability. In-depth application knowledge and understanding of the business processes that the applications support are our main assets. The Production Specialist is a senior‑level position based in Frankfurt, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Automic environment within our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of production workflows. The specialist will work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers, utilizing advanced technical expertise to deliver robust solutions and exceptional support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery in Automic automation, job sequence optimization, and integration with various platforms, while embodying best practices and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Understand thoroughly the end to end application support process and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support in the relevant area (i.e. service operations).
• Develop a good understanding of the activities required to execute Service Management functions.
• Follow all guidelines and controls for the relevant processes to ensure compliance and quality.
• Collect, interpret and respond to changes in production data, as appropriate.
• Provide regular and reliable reporting of relevant data to meet management requirements.
• Maintain an end to end view of the application and infrastructure landscape.
• Creating Batch jobs for various scenarios.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Aufbau eines umfassenden Verständnisses der End‑to‑End‑Supportprozesse sowie der zugehörigen Eskalationswege und eingesetzten Support‑Tools.
• Unterstützung bei der Durchführung zentraler Service‑Management‑Aufgaben und schrittweiser Ausbau der dafür erforderlichen Kenntnisse.
• Beurteilung der Einhaltung aller relevanten Prozessrichtlinien, Qualitätsvorgaben und Compliance‑Anforderungen.
• Beobachtung und Analyse produktiver Daten sowie Ableitung geeigneter Maßnahmen bei Veränderungen.
• Erstellung regelmäßiger und verlässlicher Berichte zur Aufbereitung relevanter Informationen für das Management.
• Beibehaltung eines ganzheitlichen Überblicks über die gesamte Anwendungs‑ und Infrastrukturlandschaft sowie Erstellung von Batch‑Jobs für unterschiedliche Szenarien.

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Fundierte praktische Kenntnisse in Produktions‑Monitoring‑Tools wie Geneos sowie mindestens einem Job‑Scheduling‑Tool (z.B. Control‑M, Autosys oder UC4/Automic).
• Nachweisbare, praxisnahe Erfahrung mit Automic Automation und AE‑Scripting in komplexen Produktionsumgebungen.
• Sehr gute SQL‑Kenntnisse sowie Erfahrung im Umgang mit PostgreSQL‑Datenbanken, inklusive Schreiben, Optimieren und Troubleshooten anspruchsvoller Abfragen.
• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder eines vergleichbaren Fachbereichs; ein Masterabschluss ist von Vorteil.
• Relevante Zertifizierungen in Automic Automation, Unix/Windows‑Administration oder Datenbankmanagement sind wünschenswert.
• Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in den Bereichen Automation, Production Support oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Rolle mit wachsender Verantwortung.

Your Skills And Experiences

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of production monitoring tools like Geneos, Control‑M/Autosys/UC4 Automic (any of the job scheduling tool).
• Proven, hands‑on experience with Automic Automation and AE scripting in a complex production environment.
• Strong command of SQL and PostgreSQL databases, with the ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Automic Automation, Unix/Windows administration, or database management are highly desirable.
• Several years’ experience in automation, production support, or a similar technical role with increasing responsibility.
