Aufgaben
You ensure the legal compliance and supervision of all export, import and customs-related matters. Moreover, you take the overall responsibility for customs and AEO-F at all German sites as well as export control.

• Advisory of all departments and sites of PI regarding customs and export-related topics
• Monitor and ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations
• Coordinate, manage and review export-import handlings
• Monitor, optimize and reapply for all existing approvals and certificates
• Overall responsibility for preferential rights at PI Karlsruhe, PImicos as well as PIC and across the PI Group
• Review export transactions requiring permission and submit BAFA applications
• Monitor changes in legal export regulations and support the operational implementation
• Revise documentations, check processes and contracts, develop guidelines as well as procedures and conduct training sessions

Profil
You possess an excellent ability to quickly and thoroughly understand complex matters to assess them in terms of customs and export-relevant operational processes.

• Completed commercial apprentice, ideally with further education in the field of export and customs
• Many years of experience in import and export as well as customs
• Profound expertise in customs law, export control law as well as preferential law
• Comprehensive knowledge of customs and foreign trade regulations and restrictions
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work with an international team
