As a service provider for various regional companies, they ensure smooth processes from balancing to billing and are responsible for the rollout of smart metering systems. At the Hamburg location, we are looking for reinforcement for a dedicated project to analyze and eliminate grid losses in the 110 kV high-voltage grid.

Your tasks

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for data quality and loss analysis in networks. Your core tasks include :

• Grid loss analysis : you will analyze and adjust grid losses in the 110 kV high-voltage grid, taking into account feed-ins and feed-outs as well as upstream and downstream grid operators.
• Measurement data validation : You check and validate the plausibility of 110 kV transfer measurements, operator measurements and differential quantities in order to identify error variants.
• System maintenance : You are responsible for checking and correcting master data in specialized systems such as robotron eCount and SAP S4 Utilities .
• Technical evaluation : You will interpret complex network maps and overview circuit diagrams from the network control room and evaluate measurement concepts (including transformer factors).
• Preparation of results : You prepare well-founded analyses, including cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments and define technical adaptation requirements.
• Project management : You prepare workshops with technical experts and carry them out independently in order to develop solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for a technically skilled expert with a deep understanding of energy balancing. What you bring to the table :

• Education : A background in electrical engineering or a comparable engineering qualification.
• Technical expertise : Sound know-how in high-voltage technology (110 kV) , including knowledge of transformers, converters and meter technology.
• Energy industry knowledge : In-depth knowledge of energy data management (EDM), balancing and feed-in and feed-out.
• IT skills : Confident handling of SAP S4 Utilities and robotron eCount as well as very good knowledge of MS Office.
• Working style : You are characterized by an independent, problem-oriented way of working and a quick grasp of complex issues.
• Soft skills : Strong communication skills, flexibility and professional time management round off your profile.
• Flexibility : Occasional willingness to travel of approx. 20 %.
