Evaluation of engineering services/specifications and quotations in accordance with current standards and regulations
Providing technical support/clarification to internal and external stakeholders throughout all project phases
Coordinating and managing external service providers as well as cross-functional collaboration and coordination with other technical departments and other stakeholders
Reviewing layouts/drawings and providing relevant comments
Reviewing reports, schedules and cost estimates and providing relevant comments
Regular supplier visits with status meetings, technical audits and construction site discussions
Coordination of interfaces with regard to equipment and process technology/coordination and consultation at the relevant interfaces
Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and technical specifications

University degree in engineering, preferably shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
Willingness to travel frequently
Several years of experience in maritime technology
Knowledge of common design and calculation methods
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Strong social and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and in demanding environments
Very good written and spoken German and English

Experience with international projects and intercultural cooperation
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations for offshore installations or shipbuilding facilities
