Project Engineer – Full Flight Simulator

TXT Group invites applications for a Project Engineer to lead the development of a Full Flight Simulator for a regional turboprop aircraft at our Munich office. The candidate will own the end‑to‑end responsibility for design, integration and qualification of the simulator in close collaboration with the manufacturer and regulatory authorities.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the simulator lifecycle from concept to operational deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and review technical specifications.
• Coordinate the preparation and delivery of the simulator data package required by the manufacturer.
• Lead simulator testing and validation activities, establishing protocols to ensure accuracy, reliability and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with EASA CS‑FSTD and FAA Part 60 requirements, including preparation and maintenance of qualification documentation and liaison with regulatory authorities.
• Plan and monitor the simulator development process, balancing quality, budget and delivery milestones.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Full Flight Simulator development.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, flight physics and aerodynamics, applied to flight simulation.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for flight simulators (EASA CS‑FSTD, FAA Part 60).
• Project management skills with accountability for achieving program objectives within defined scope, schedule and budget.
• Proficiency in MS Office for producing technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of turboprop aircraft performance characteristics.
• Experience in roles accountable for regulatory compliance and certification of Full Flight Simulators.
