About the Role

The role involves overseeing the financial management of energy storage power plant projects in Europe, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial management of energy storage power plant projects in Europe, including budget preparation, cost control, accounting, and financial reporting, to ensure compliance with financial regulations;
• Participate in financial due diligence for energy storage power plant projects in Europe, assess financial risks and returns, and provide support for investment decisions;
• Develop and maintain financial models for energy storage power plant projects in Europe, conduct return on investment (ROI) and sensitivity analyses, and provide financial guidance for project operations;
• Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, and accounting firms in Europe to facilitate project financing and tax planning, and optimize the project’s financial structure;
• Monitor financial policies and regulations in the European renewable energy and energy storage plant markets, adjust project financial strategies in a timely manner, and ensure projects comply with local regulatory requirements;
• Oversee the sales and business development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) equipment in Europe, driving the implementation of equipment sales and project collaborations;

Qualifications

Relevant educational background in finance, business administration, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills;
• Experience in project finance and investment analysis;
• Knowledge of financial regulations in the European energy sector;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the renewable energy sector;
• Familiarity with energy storage technologies;
• Proficiency in financial software and tools;
