Project Lead Developer

Project Development Manager | Renewable Energy | Germany | Hybrid

We're working with a fast-growing platform focused on developing renewable energy projects across Europe.

They are now looking to hire a Project Developer with experience in ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS) . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse, international team and contribute to projects that benefit both communities and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PV and BESS projects from site identification through to construction readiness.
• Manage grid connection processes and ensure all technical, legal, and economic requirements are met.
• Coordinate external partners and project developers.
• Prepare and manage project budgets with support from senior management.
• Support financing, PPA negotiations, and project sales.

Essential Skills

• Degree in a relevant field ( e.g. economics, renewable energy or agriculture)
• Proven experience in renewable energy project development and a strong professional network.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with high personal accountability.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English .
• Willingness to travel across project locations.
