The position holder works as Project Management Office II / Operational Scheduling AIT (d/m/w) .
Responsibilities
- Execution of AIT planning activities for spacecraft production in Friedrichshafen at project level
- Support to the AIT Manager and the project PMO team in the creation and maintenance of detailed production schedules at project level
- Proactive collection of inputs from all project stakeholders and maintenance of the AIT schedule accordingly
- Performance of schedule analyses and provision of appropriate recommendations to the AIT Manager and the PMO team (e.g. regarding critical paths, resource utilization, etc.)
- Support in the implementation of new integrated planning processes in coordination with local stakeholders (Master Production Scheduler) and ensuring compliance within the project
- Establishment and maintenance of working relationships among stakeholders across functional departments, the project, and the PMO
- Preparation and maintenance of project AIT schedules in line with project inputs
- Management of multidisciplinary task dependencies, resource allocations, project milestone tracking, and reporting-related planning for the project, management level, and the customer
- Support to decision-making at AIT and project management level through schedule analysis and planning scenario simulations
- Acting as the point of contact for AIT planning-related matters within the project
Your Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing / production
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning and control
- Proven experience in the use of planning processes and tools in the defense and aerospace sector, specifically in spacecraft production
- Experience in managing complex, multidisciplinary production schedules
- Advanced, detailed specialist knowledge of MS Project
- Extensive use of planning tools (Unified Planning / Planisware considered an advantage)
- German language skills at a business-fluent / negotiation level
- English language skills at a business-fluent / negotiation level
