Project Management Officer

Resultance is hiring a Project Management Officer (freelance consultant) for one of it's strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive project governance and ensure milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are tracked.
• Support project lead in monitoring workstream progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Consolidate inputs from different managers and workstreams into coherent status reports.
• Prepare and facilitate internal alignment calls and steering committee meetings.
• Ensure strict adherence to the top-down approach, including escalation of deviations.
• Maintain project documentation (RAID logs, dashboards, trackers, meeting minutes).
• Act as primary liaison with the client PMO, aligning on methodology and reporting cadence.

Profile Requirements

• 5+ years of PMO experience, ideally with exposure to cost optimization or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work in politically sensitive contexts.
• Strong communication, synthesis, and reporting skills in English.
• Comfortable challenging inputs and ensuring discipline in project governance.
