Company Description

The client is an innovative trading and services company with a clear growth strategy in the changing energy market. In addition to the energy supply of commercial and industrial customers, they focus on the marketing of electricity from renewable energy sources and provide plant operators with a wide range of revenue opportunities. As part of their growth and expansion plans in Germany, they are looking for a Project Manager – Biomass, to work out of their office in Dusseldorf.

Job Description

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Contact person for plant operators in the market premium models for Biomass / Biogas

• Processing of all questions relating to the topic of direct and control energy marketing

• Conduct pre-qualification of reserve power in the balancing energy market

• Ensuring the smooth processes from contract to settlement

• Coordination of processes around marketing with customers and service

• Support sales team with any technical questions

Qualifications

Requirements:

The candidate should have completed a technical degree or equivalent technical training.

Experience in construction, preferably in the area of Biogas plants .

Basic knowledge of the energy industry is essential.

Excellent communication skills, outgoing and an affinity for agriculture.

Confident, Self-starter and success oriented.

Fluency in German is essential and Knowledge of English would be an advantage.
