The Verdant division is a growing green technology company specializing in smart thermostat systems for commercial buildings, with a strong focus on hotels across Europe. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of multiple concurrent installation projects. The role is critical to scaling our European operations, managing the roll-out of pilot installations, and driving full-building and portfolio-wide deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination

    • Manage and coordinate up to 10 concurrent smart thermostat installation projects per month .

    • Serve as the main point of contact between North American technical experts, European integrators, electricians, and commercial building stakeholders.

    • Develop and track project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Pilot Install Management

    • Oversee proof-of-concept installations in a subset of rooms and ensure they are delivered on time and to quality expectations.

    • Ensure pilots are properly documented and customer feedback is collected to support full-hotel deployment decisions.

  • Stakeholder Communication

    • Communicate technical scope and timelines clearly to all stakeholders, including hotel owners, operators, local installers and internal technical teams.

    • Organize and lead project meetings and reporting sessions across different time zones.

  • Site Readiness and Compliance

    • Coordinate pre-install site assessments and ensure HVAC system configurations are understood.

    • Ensure local safety standards and risk assessments are executed for each site.

    • Work with local partners to ensure installations are compliant with building codes and site-specific constraints.

  • Training & Quality Assurance

    • Support the onboarding and training of local electricians and integrators led by our North American installation experts.

    • Conduct remote or on-site QA checks during and after installation to ensure system performance and consistency.

  • Project Reporting

    • Design and maintain real-time project dashboards and detailed reports on progress, blockers, and escalations.

    • Report monthly on project performance, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in project management of HVAC, building automation, or IoT installations in commercial or hospitality settings.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems , control integration, or building management systems.

  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous installations in different geographic regions.

  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor face to face management skills.

  • Fluent in English (French, Spanish, German, or Italian is a strong asset).

  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, ).

  • Willingness to travel within Europe and the UK 25% of the time.
