Project Manager (m/f/d) Technical Documentation

For our client, a company of the thyssenkrupp Group in Kiel , we are currently looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) IPS (Integrated Product Support).

Your tasks

• You form the interface between the Technical Documentation (DOC) department and the respective project organization.
• You coordinate the DOC work packages (WP) so that the work packages can be fulfilled in accordance with the contract in terms of quality, costs and time.
• You create a schedule/cost/resource requirement plan for the WPs and revise the plan on an ongoing basis.
• You agree the WPs with the specialist department and designate the specialist group/resource requirements based on the WPs.
• You create status reports based on predefined reporting templates and derive corresponding assessments/measures.
• At the request of the PM-IPS, you support the clarification of subject-specific details in contract negotiations with customers, partners and UAN.
• You identify project/specialist-specific potential for improvement and document the adaptation of the process or close process gaps and create interface documents.
• You ensure that quality checks of external/own services and deliveries (e.g. documentation, specifications) are carried out.

Your profile

• You have a successfully completed degree in engineering/economics or a comparable qualification/professional experience.
• You have comprehensive system knowledge of the support system or Integrated Product Support (IPS), in particular the technical documentation.
• You have sound knowledge of the relevant standards (in particular ASD S1000D/ S2000M).
• You are confident in the application of project management methods (classic or agile).
• You ideally have a project management certification (IPMA, Scrum or comparable).
• You are communicative and use your teamwork skills to achieve joint success.
• You are goal-oriented, like to take responsibility and are able to avoid and resolve conflicts.
• You have a good command of written and spoken English.
• You have already gained professional experience in project management.
• You have already gained professional experience in the navy, shipping, naval logistics and/or in IPS, ideally in the creation of technical documentation / ASD processes mentioned above.
