Project Manager (mwd) Data Centre Construction

Overview

With the growing demand of our clients in the data centre sector we would like to expand our team with a multidisciplinary Project Manager (m/w/d).

Responsibilities

Manage overall project cost schedule and budgets
Oversee General Contractor vendors and consultants
Track and manage critical milestones to prevent delays
Review construction proposals pricing and scopes
Assess work-in-place and approve capital expenditures
Review and approve cost-loaded schedules
Lead client and project meetings
Identify and monitor factors influencing construction costs
Apply knowledge of procurement methods and long-lead equipment
Validate and audit contractor cost estimates
Support engineering decisions during design-build changes
Review and approve payment requests and invoices
Ensure equipment delivery aligns with project schedule
Record potential claims and act on clients behalf
Advocate for client in disputes change orders and modifications
Coordinate scheduling consultant reviews
Oversee project close-out including documentation and warranties

Qualifications

University degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager preferably in Data Centre or mission-critical projects
Solid knowledge of Structural Civil Plumbing Mechanical Electrical and Low Voltage scopes of work
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets report writing and presentations
Strong communication and organisational skills; ability to multi-task effectively
Entrepreneurial mindset with a team-oriented attitude
Fluent language skills in German and English
