As Project Manager - Technical Service, you are the first point of contact for all service-related matters concerning the cranes we manufacture. In this key role, you are responsible for the efficient planning, support and follow-up of a wide range of projects – from regular maintenance assignments to complex long-term projects such as repairs and upgrades during shipyard or individual component inspections for the Bundeswehr. On a daily basis, you will also handle all technical enquiries from our customers, ensuring their needs are consistently met.

Technical expertise
1. First point of contact in the service area
- You are the primary contact person for our customers when it comes to the service and maintenance of the cranes we design and manufacture
- You ensure that all service requests are handled quickly and professionally, provide technical support in cooperation with our technical departments and resolve any issues by phone, online and, if necessary, on site
- In close cooperation with the technical team, you ensure that all service processes are carefully documented and executed smoothly and efficiently
2. Planning and management of long-term projects
- You are responsible for the planning, organization and control of long-term projects, in particular shipyard periods (comprehensive maintenance and repair of our cranes during shipyard stays) and individual component inspections for the Bundeswehr
- You coordinate all necessary steps, from planning personnel and material requirements, through execution, right up to completion and follow-up of the projects
- This includes close coordination with internal departments, external service providers and our customers to ensure that schedules, budgets and quality standards are consistently met
- You are a reliable contact for our customers for all day-to-day enquiries, whether related to service requests, technical problems or specific requirements
- You analyze, structure and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently and coordinate, where necessary, the implementation of solutions by our team or external partners
- You are also responsible for maintaining an ongoing communication with our customers and ensuring their continued satisfaction
4. Coordination and Documentation
- You coordinate internal resources to ensure that all projects and service orders are completed on schedule and in line with agreed quality standards
- You document all relevant processes – from the initial customer inquiry through to project acceptance – and ensure that all technical and administrative requirements are properly fulfilled
Your profile
- Technical training or a comparable degree in mechanical engineering, engineering or a related field
- Professional experience in technical service and/or project management, ideally in mechanical engineering or crane technology
- Solid technical knowledge and experience working with complex systems and installations
- Strong communication skills and a high level of customer orientation, enabling you to respond quickly and reliably to our customers’ needs
- Distinctive organizational skills for planning and managing long-term projects and shipyard periods
- Experience working with military clients (e.g. the Bundeswehr) is an advantage
