Tasks

• Responsible for specifying, establishing, and managing quality measures in quotations and projects
• Responsible for communicating quality‑related issues with customers, ZtQ, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring compliance with all processes in projectsIndependent assessment of project/product status for internal company and departmental reporting
• Responsible for creating, establishing, and maintaining the quality management plan, the test procedure plan, and the document overview
• Responsible for initiating and creating test and acceptance planning
• Responsible for planning, preparing, and documenting quality gates (QG)
• Responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating engineering reviews (ER)
• Monitoring the implementation of measures specified in the ER and QG
• Responsible for coordinating reviews of project documents and their approval
• Participating in the creation of project‑related documents (e.g., development plan, test plan, integration and verification plan)
• Participation in/implementation of preliminary tests/tests with customers and suppliers
• Co‑decision on the selection of suppliers and participation in supplier audits
• Responsible for defining quality criteria for orders placed with suppliers
• Review and approval of orders with regard to quality requirements
• Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and deciding on the approval ofinitial sample tests at and with suppliers
• Responsible for production and series approval at suppliers
• Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and deciding on production approval at RME
• Responsible for deciding on approval for product testing by the customer
• Checking and approving test reports, outgoing goods inspections, and approvals for delivery to customers
• Responsible for rejecting and returning services in the event of non‑performance
• Responsible for preparing all information for assessing product conformity as a decision‑making aid for authorized signatories
• Responsible for issuing factory certificates and other product certificates
• Co‑decision on the tolerance of defective purchased parts
• Co‑decision on the approval of change requests
• Responsible for reporting the results from ER, QG, and customer acceptances or delivery inspections in the internal ticket tools
• Responsible for planning and estimating the services of a project quality manager (m/f/d) for future projects within the scope of offers
• Responsibility for assigned project cost units, participation in cost-to-complete
• Collaboration in and moderation of cross‑project and cross‑departmental quality measures (4D, 8D, kvp)

Requirements

• Completed technical bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Several years of relevant experience in project‑related quality management
• Applied knowledge of QM and development standards
• Practical experience in system/hardware/software development methods
• Practical experience in verification and testing methods
• Very good knowledge of testing procedures/methods and review/audit techniques
• Business fluent English and German skills (spoken and written)
• Goal‑oriented and independent way of working
• Confident manner and communication skills at all company levels
• Ability to deal with conflict
• Willingness to travel worldwide
