Job Title: Project / Service Manager (IT Operations & Transformation)

Location: Hybrid in Frankfurt, Germany (3 days on-site)

We are currently supporting one of our IT consultancy clients in Germany who are looking for an experienced Project / Service Manager to take end-to-end ownership of complex, production-critical IT services and transformation projects. This role sits at the heart of operations, governance, and innovation, managing large-scale IT landscapes with over 200 applications and playing a key role in building and evolving a 24/7 support organisation.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and ensure service stability while driving automation, AI initiatives, and continuous improvement.

• Plan, control, and successfully deliver complex IT projects across multiple workstreams (IT operations, AI development, communication, 2nd level support, etc.)
• Full end-to-end responsibility for production-critical IT services, ensuring stability, availability, and timely delivery
• Design and implement a 24/7 support organisation, including service design, monitoring, incident/problem management, and L1/L2/L3 alignment
• Act as the central point of contact for stakeholder and escalation management, facilitating decision-making and ensuring transparent communication
• Manage budget, performance, SLAs, KPIs, and contracts, with a strong focus on cost control and service optimisation
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, structured risk management, and process optimisation
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Strong professional experience in IT project management, ideally with exposure to IT service or operations management
• Passion for AI, automation, monitoring, and innovative technical solutions
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments
• Fluent German (C1/C2+) and English – written and spoken
