Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier performance (deadlines/quality) during the critical start‑up phase of new projects.
• Precisely prepare complex project requests and trigger orders promptly.
• Keep track of schedules and any adjustments at all times.
• Coordinate flawlessly with development, production planning and sales to enable a smooth workflow.
• Reduce cycle times and inventory levels.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers.

Required Competencies and Experience

• Ideally you have already gained experience in strategic purchasing – even from a short internship. If not, please convince us why you are still suitable.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or university degree is mandatory. What you have studied is irrelevant.
• Fluency in German and good English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Excel, analytical thinking, adherence to deadlines and a keen desire for continuous development.
• Technical understanding and interest (e.g., CNC) are necessary – you must understand what you purchase.
