We're looking for a hands-on, solution-driven Project Engineer to help bring solar & BESS projects to life—from initial concept through to permitting and technical planning. If you're passionate about clean energy and want to make a real impact, this could be your next role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise technical layouts in the acquisition and early development phases, particularly for zoning plan projects
• Actively contribute technical expertise to project strategy and planning within the development team
• Plan and design grid connection concepts and cable routing
• Prepare all required technical documentation for building permit applications, in coordination with external planning offices
• Participate in early-stage technical negotiations during project handovers to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) team
• Support the risk assessment and feasibility analysis of projects, including those involving Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Coordinate and initiate application and approval procedures with authorities, grid operators, and partners

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ground-mounted solar PV project engineering (5+ years ideal)
• Solid experience with PV system design and software tools: PV*Sol, AutoCAD, PV*Syst
• Working knowledge of GIS tools is a strong advantage
• Confident in coordinating with grid providers and public authorities in German-speaking regions
• Fluent in German (required) and English (required)
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently in a small but dynamic technical team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Open and constructive communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and borders
