• Overseeshipboard compliance with health standards in the areas of disease surveillance, prevention and control of infectious illnesses, food safety, potable and recreational water safety, and integrated pest management through support, guidance, audits, training, briefings, and effective communication
• Deliver effective public health training and conduct internal audits of shipboard public health programs
• Report on public health observations based on trends and audit results to shipboard and shoreside management to address non-compliances in operations
• Additional projects may be assigned by the shoreside Public Health Department

Dein bisheriger Kurs

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, Environmental Health, Biological Sciences or closely related fields is preferred
• Two years of shipboard experience or three years of full-time shoreside experience in implementing, overseeing, or auditing public health programs
• Knowledge of the VSP Manual and SHIPSAN Manual
• Ability to deliver effective training
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with culturally diverse teams
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Very good English skills, basic knowledge of German or willingness to learn is beneficial
• Ability to prioritize tasks, resolve issues effectively, and work independently under pressure
