What you'll do at Daedalus

• Build and ship the tech stack behind our factory of the future, including production scheduling, workflow orchestration, and real-time machine integration.

• Own features end-to-end — focus on backend (Python/Django) or frontend (React/TypeScript), but collaborate across the stack as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into a complex industrial domain.

• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of our software systems.

• Work with the product team to develop user stories and identify the highest-impact opportunities.

Who you are

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintainingmodern web applications across the stack .

• Proven experience shippingreal software products in complex enterprise or SaaS environments.

• Strong technical and delivery mindset — able to make decisions balancingspeed, quality, and maintainability .

• Thrive in collaborative environments and contribute actively to team discussions. Mentor less-experienced engineers where appropriate.

• Eager todevelop generalist skills while deepening expertise in frontend and backend technologies.

• Proficient or highly experienced in modern tech stacks. At Daedalus, we use:Python, Django, React, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Bazel . Exact prior experience with all tools is not required — we valuefast learners who pick the right tool for the task.
