QA Engineer (f/m/x)

We’re now looking for a QA Engineer who ensures that every release meets our high standards for reliability, usability, and scalability — and who wants to help us build a QA culture from the ground up. Tasks You’ll take ownership of our test strategy, automate where it makes sense, and make sure our users experience a rock-solid platform. 🧪 Design & execute test strategies – Define and implement QA processes, test plans, and test cases for new and existing features. ⚙️ Automate smartly – Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, and regression tests) using modern frameworks. 🧩 Collaborate with developers – Work hand-in-hand with engineers to catch bugs early, improve code quality, and streamline releases. 🔍 Ensure reliability across environments – Validate integrations, monitor builds, and guarantee stability across browsers and devices. 🚀 Shape the QA foundation – Help establish Pactos’ QA standards and best practices to make product reliability measurable and actionable. Requirements 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing (manual and/or automated) Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar) Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST, GraphQL) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) Solid understanding of modern web apps (React, Node.js, etc.) Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive — you take ownership of quality Fluent in German and English Benefits Attractive comp + ESOP: Competitive salary plus meaningful equity Ownership from day one: You take charge of QA processes and tools Speed: We make decisions in hours, not weeks.
