QC Inspector- Continental Shift

Location: Burgkirchen an der Alz, Bavaria, Germany

Overview

Position Summary: Inspection and testing of all PVC pipe produced within the facility or transferred from off site.

Shift

Continental (2 weeks days, 2 weeks Nights)

Wage

$26.07

Shift Premium: $1 for Nights

Responsibilities

• Perform In-coming Materials Inspection
• Support Manufacturing Processes
• Perform First Article Inspection and Record Results
• Perform In-Process Inspection and Record Results
• Perform Final Inspection and Record Results
• Create and Maintain Inspection Sheets
• Maintain Product Traceability Sheets
• Perform Re-Inspection on any Reworked and Repaired Items
• Complete all Testing at Required Frequencies
• Perform Calibration and Maintain Records of all Measuring and Testing Equipment
• Control Non-Conforming Material for Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspection
• Support the Team in Disposition of Non-Conforming Material
• Release "on hold" products for shipments/recycling
• Coordinate QC Procedures
• Control Production Drawings
• Create Monthly QC Summary Reports
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in QC is an asset
• Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms
