Quality and Environment Manager F/H

VINCI Construction GeoInfrastructure is a subsidiary of the VINCI Group specialising in transport infrastructure, coastal protection, hydraulic engineering, environmental development and site servicing. Together with its sister company SPIECAPAG, the company has been awarded the contract to lay direct current lines as part of the SuedOstLink project, which will connect the power grid across northern and eastern Germany to Bavaria, supplying clean and affordable electricity from 2027 onwards.

Responsibilities

Steer the Quality and Environment policy: define objectives and indicators, implement and maintain management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.), conduct regulatory monitoring.
Monitor and improve the Quality and Environment system, ensuring deployment of procedures, leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, PDCA, Kaizen, audits, feedback), and controlling documentation.
Ensure environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance, manage waste, discharges, pollution, and reduce environmental impact; conduct audits and monitor indicators.
Conduct internal and supplier audits, manage supplier approval requests, support external audits, develop post‑audit action plans, and verify execution monitoring files.
Coordinate training, awareness‑raising, and communication; manage non‑compliance and complaints; report and communicate QE indicators and dashboards.
Participate in management reviews and steering committees.

Qualifications

Degree in civil engineering or equivalent; significant experience in quality, safety, and environment.
Experience in the construction industry, preferably in large‑scale projects.
Proficient in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; knowledge of German environmental regulations is ideal.
Independent, rigorous, organised and proactive.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to rally teams around quality and environmental issues.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in German is essential (B2/C1).
