About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team for a major bridge construction project in Berlin. This role ensures all construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reinforcements and formworks , critical for structural integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans for the bridge construction project.
• Monitor and inspect reinforcement installation and formwork assembly to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Conduct material inspections , testing , and verification of contractor work.
• Review and approve method statements , inspection test plans (ITPs) , and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Prepare and present quality reports to project management and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during QA/QC activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in bridge or infrastructure projects .
• Strong knowledge of reinforcements , formworks , and European construction standards.
• Familiarity with EN codes , ISO quality systems , and quality management tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in German
