Job Description

As an internal Quality Auditor at Honeywell Aerospace in Raunheim you will help shape and maintain our organization’s commitment to exceptional quality standards. Your role includes planning and leading internal audits, developing audit tools, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, industry standards and corporate guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an internal audit plan and lead and manage internal audits, including scoping and planning.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely completion of audit projects; prepare and present audit findings and recommendations.
  • Develop and improve audit checklists and audit reports.
  • Execute product and process audits to check the conformity of work steps according to the technical product and process requirements, to verify compliance of operational processes with aviation regulations, industry standards, corporate guidelines or operational procedures, either internally or externally.
  • Coach and train auditees to understand the requirements.
  • Document audit results in audit reports, define deviations and discuss results with the relevant departments or suppliers.
  • Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support departments in the definition, initiation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field or equivalent experience (Techniker Ausbildung).
  • Multiple years of experience in quality control, quality assurance and/or auditing.
  • Education as auditor is desirable.
  • Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (EN9100, EASA‑145).
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies and tools for auditing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
  • Team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet project timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Full business proficiency in German and English language.
