Quality Control Laboratory Technician (M/F/D)

Main Functions
To support the development of our Lallemand Plant Care business unit, our Quality Control team in Wismar, Germany, is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician .
Main tasks
- Working in a cleanroom environment;
- Preparation, calculation, and execution of microbiological, chemical, and physical analytical methods for product release, in-process controls, and raw materials (e.g., microbial purity, total viable count, moisture and density determination, etc.);
- Compilation of raw data, timely, accurate, and complete documentation of analyses, evaluation and processing of experimental data, entry of measurement results into laboratory databases (LEMS) and ERP systems (LEWIS);
- Product release according to specifications;
- Maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment (functional checks, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting);
- Participation in the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and templates;
- General laboratory tasks (handling microorganisms and chemicals, preparation of culture media, dilution series, starter cultures, sterile work, etc.).

Technical skills
- Completed training as MTA, MTL, MTF, Biological Laboratory Technician, BTA, CTA, or Chemical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent qualification;
- 2 years of experience in microbiology and quality system (or related field);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German;
- Proficient in MS Office and experience with common software for measuring and analytical devices;
- Knowledge of microbiological and chemical-physical standard analytical methods;
- Professional experience in a manufacturing company.
Asset
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
