About The Role
This role is about protecting and improving the quality our customers expect. As a Quality Control Specialist at our Kirchheim site, you ensure our products meet the highest standards, right from the raw material check to the final product. You will use your keen eye for detail and proactive mindset to make sure we always deliver excellence.
How You Embrace Curiosity Daily
- You inspect products carefully at every stage of production.
- You look closely at manufacturing processes to spot where they don't meet standards.
- You check incoming materials and components for quality compliance.
- You document all findings and report any non-conformities clearly.
- You help production teams understand and follow quality standards and best practices.
- You collect and analyze quality data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and find ways to improve.
How You Make Your Mark
- You stop quality issues before they reach our customers, safeguarding our reputation.
- You lead problem solving and root cause analysis for any quality concerns.
- You coordinate actions to correct problems and prevent them from happening again.
- You support the development of new quality control procedures and checklists.
- You help to maintain and update important quality related documents.
- You perform internal audits and follow up on any necessary actions.
- You contribute to a site culture where everyone values quality awareness.
What You Bring To The Team
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a quality role.
- Strong ability to analyze problems and find the true root cause.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in your work and documentation.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly across teams.
- Proficiency in digital tools like Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis.
- Fluent in German
What Sets You Apart
- Formal education like a degree, master craftsman, or technician qualification in Printing & Media Technology, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Extra qualifications in quality management, such as internal auditor training or knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
- Experience using structured problem solving and deviation management systems.
- Ability to converse in English
