Quality Engineer

Now Hiring: Quality Engineer (m/f/d) | Lower Saxony, Germany
📍 Location: Lower Saxony | 🕒 Full-time | 🚗 Automotive Supplier | 💶 €70,000–€80,000 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) in Lower Saxony for our Global Automotive Client. In this role, you will help ensure high-quality standards in our pre-series production and contribute to smooth launches for our automotive customers.

Salary Expectations - Your Key Tasks

• Support quality planning during pre-production (APQP, control plans, sample submissions, etc.)
• Prepare and maintain FMEAs, process flowcharts, and documentation in line with VDA requirements
• Coordinate measurement system analysis (MSA) and product audits (VDA 6.5)
• Handle customer, supplier, and internal complaints (8D, root cause analysis)
• Support quality topics in welded assemblies and cold forming production

What You Bring (Non-Negotiables ✅)

• C1 level German (required) and good English skills
• Practical experience with Automotive Core Tools (FMEA, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D)
• Relevant professional experience in automotive or supplier quality

Nice to Have

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements (VW, Mercedes, Volvo)
• Background in cold forming, welding, or toolmaking
• Six Sigma knowledge (Green/Black Belt)
