Quality Engineer

I am supporting one of the world’s largest global suppliers of high-precision automotive components, working directly with leading OEMs including VW, Mercedes, Porsche, and BMW. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment and wants to progress within a stable, international organisation. The RoleAs a Quality Engineer, you will support day-to-day quality assurance in a fast-paced automotive production environment. You’ll be highly present on the shop floor, resolving deviations quickly, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring customer requirements are met. The role combines hands-on problem solving, technical analysis, and close communication with production, suppliers, and OEM customers. You will:Be hands-on on the shop floor, investigating issues in real time.Analyse quality deviations independently and take swift corrective action.Support PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and process documentation.Perform measurement checks, verify fixtures/gauges, and support metrology.Conduct structured problem solving using 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone.Analyse production data and prepare concise reports and charts.Keep customer portals and internal systems up to date with quality information. RequirementsAutomotive manufacturing quality experience (Tier-1 or Tier-2).Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and certified in VDA 6.3.Hands-on experience with 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC.Able to make independent decisions under pressure and react quickly.Confident working with customer-specific requirements and documentation.Engineering degree in a relevant field.Fluent German (C1 minimum) and strong English communication skills.
