Role Overview

Samsung SDS Smart Logistics (part of the SAMSUNG Group) was founded in 2012 and is one of the fastest growing logistics service providers in the world. As an innovative company, we offer our customers optimized solutions and consulting in the field of supply chain management based on our in-house platform “Cello.” SAMSUNG SDS Smart Logistics operates in 40 countries worldwide and employs more than 4,500 logistics experts.

We are looking for a Quality & Facility Specialist (m/f/d) at our location in Korbach.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and implementing quality standards, including initiating corrective and preventive actions
• Ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements
• Monitoring storage operations to ensure consistent adherence to regulations
• Planning and conducting internal and external audits (ISO 9001 and, if applicable, further group audits)
• Organizing internal and external complaint management
• Conducting and organizing specific analyses within the scope of quality management
• Implementing or organizing training measures related to quality management
• Promoting quality awareness
• Facility management: checking and ensuring the proper functioning of building technology through regular maintenance
• Damage management: recording, reporting, and repairing damages
• Optimizing and implementing existing and new processes regarding safety prevention
• Fleet management: managing the fleet (forklifts)
• Coordinating the caretaker, especially winter services, environmental tasks, and cleaning services
• Asset management
• Equipping employees with personal protective equipment and implementing occupational safety measures
• Documentation and reporting

Qualifications

• Completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or similar
• Additional qualification as a Quality Management Representative / Quality Manager
• Professional experience in similar positions within the automotive, logistics, or related sectors
• Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, accuracy, and high technical understanding
• Ability to conduct structured problem analysis and find systematic solutions
• Experience in applying and implementing problem-solving techniques
• Confident appearance during customer and supplier visits, strong negotiation skills
• High level of responsibility and a hands‑on mentality
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and SAP knowledge
• Very good German and English skills
