Description

This position is also responsible for our quality management systems. The co-op will be involved in managing the daily operation of our quality management tools and developing new features and systems as needed. The applications involved range from Oracle/SQL, to APEX, VBA/MS Office-based tools and other BMW‑specific systems.

• Analyze new problems in daily production and launches.
• Test solutions to problems, ensuring they are robust enough for production.
• Support launch and series problem solving teams as needed.
• Regularly create reports on our current quality landscape.
• Support team in developing, maintaining, and streamlining quality management systems

Qualifications

• Pursuing Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial / Systems Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Basic programming knowledge preferred (Matlab, Python, VBA, SQL)
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 18th- August 7th, 2026 .
• Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
