Quant Researcher (m/f/d) – BIT Capital

We are looking for a passionate Quant Researcher to join our team in Berlin. From Day 1, you will conduct quantitative research with the goal of generating actionable insights and developing systematic signals and strategies.

Responsibilities

Idea generation for new trading signals, patterns and backtesting ideas
Work in tandem with senior members of the Quant Team on quantitative research papers and systematic strategies
Partner with the Data and Fundamental Research Team on research questions
Support the development of tools that help test strategies and portfolio management

Profile

Master/PhD in a technical discipline such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, CS or similar with excellent results
Exceptional knowledge of statistical concepts, machine learning, time series and modeling
1‑2 years of proven expertise in investment strategies and financial markets, gained through professional roles or personal ventures
Extremely methodical and structured working approach
Outstanding programming skills in Python and SQL; R is a plus
First experience working with LLMs is a plus
Knowledge of data structures and database architectures is a plus
