Quant Researcher (m/f/d)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a passionate Quant Researcher (m / f / d) to join our team in Berlin.

From Day 1, you will be leveraging BIT Capital’s quant team by conducting quantitative research with the goal of generating actionable insights and developing systematic signals and strategies.

Your responsibilities

• Idea generation for new trading signals, patterns and backtesting ideas
• Work in tandem with senior members of the Quant Team on quantitative research papers and systematic strategies
• Partner with the Data and Fundamental Research Team on research questions
• Support the development of various tools that helps us testing our strategies and portfolio management

Your profile

• Master / PhD in a technical discipline like Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, CS or similar with excellent results
• Exceptional knowledge of statistical concepts, machine learning, time series and modeling
• 1-2 years of proven expertise in investment strategies and financial markets, gained through either professional roles or personal ventures.
• Extremely methodical and structured working approach
• Outstanding programming skills in Python and SQL, R is a plus
• First experience in working with LLMs is a plus
• Knowledge of data structures and database architectures is a plus
