Position Overview:

• Project Chief Engineer (m/f/d) for Radar Satellite missions
• System Engineering responsibilities for Radar satellite missions
• Support complex technical developments at subproject and subsystem levels, including schedule and cost management, aligned with contractual requirements
• Lead and organize regular reviews, checkpoints, and engineering change boards
• Evaluate and control ongoing design and development, including independent analyses based on system requirements
• Assess risks and problems, developing pragmatic solutions
• Initiate corrective actions for deviations, coordinate with customers, and implement contract changes if necessary
• Ensure proper and timely preparation of LEOP and IOT activities
• Facilitate technical information exchange within the project team and with external entities

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in aerospace engineering, physics, or related field, with additional economics study or relevant experience
• Significant experience as a project chief engineer or lead system engineer
• Strong technical and economic understanding, with analytical and soft skills
• Experience in similar roles within B/C/D space projects
• High responsibility, solution-oriented, well-organized, and communicative
• Excellent team working and motivation skills
• Willingness to learn and expand expertise
• Proficiency in German and English
