Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

General Information

• In this role you will be a member of a self-organized agile cross-functional team.
• You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of embedded software on Distributed Control Systems and Fieldbus Interfaces.
• As an expert for the fieldbuses, you will ensure that the implementation is compliant with the fieldbus standards.
• Reporting to the Head of Control & IO Firmware Minden (Westf), Germany you will contribute significantly to successful results in delivering Distributed Control Systems and Fieldbus Interfaces to our customers.

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to the full development process (design, implementation, testing and validation) of the embedded software used in the control system (new products as well as maintenance of legacy systems)
• Reviewing product requirements, creating designs based on deep understanding of the requirements and the system environment
• Developing software according to the quality management system
• Analyzing customer issues and solving problems

Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years of professional experience in Embedded Software development
• Sound knowledge of Embedded Software architectures and operating systems
• Knowledge in Fieldbus systems, preferably PROFINET and OPC/UA
• Knowledge in latest Agile development frameworks like Scrum, knowledge in practices and tools like DevOps, Azure DevOps Services.
• Business-fluent English skills and fluent German skills in spoken and written communication
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
