As a member of our Innovation and R&D function, you’ll collaborate with various laboratories and commercial teams to drive the growth of our Electric & Electronic (E&E) segment. We’re looking for a dynamic R&D Project Leader with expertise in flame-retardant formulations to lead strategic innovation projects and support new application developments.

Your future responsibilities:

• Lead Innovation Projects: Manage and execute development projects for new polyamide solutions tailored to E&E applications. Define deliverables, timelines, and resources, and ensure alignment with our strategic roadmap.
• Drive Technical Exploration: Lead exploratory projects to address emerging technologies and applications. Coordinate technical actions with our Application Center labs (Evaluation, Processing & Compounding, Simulation, Part Testing).
• Support Customer-Facing Teams: Translate customer needs into technical specifications. Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and engage directly with customers when needed to foster expert-level exchanges.
• Raw Material Approval: Collaborate with purchasing and raw material managers to evaluate and validate new materials. Plan and analyze tests, and support industrial teams in formulation updates.
• Global Collaboration: Provide technical support to our teams in China, India, and the US on local product development initiatives.

Your profile:

You hold a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Material Science, or Chemistry, and bring at least 5 years of experience in plastics formulation for injection molding.

• Strong knowledge of polymer properties, formulation, and processing technologies
• Technical knowledge of Flame-retardant formulation
• Project leadership and transversal management skills
• Innovation mindset and execution drive
• Excellent communication skills (presentations, reports)
• Fluency in English
• Team spirit, customer orientation, curiosity, and proactivity
