React/TS Software Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in the application lifecycle of Cardmarket's website family

• Develop React + TypeScript components and features

• Maintain and improve existing modules and features

• Contribute to improving team processes through retrospectives

Your profile

• A finished study, vocational training, or apprenticeship in software development, programming or similar experience
• 4+ years Experience with React/TS (hooks, state management, performance optimization)
• Knowledge of application architecture - experience designing and structuring scalable frontend applications
• Familiarity with REST APIs for frontend/backend communication
• Strong knowledge of state management
• Good understanding of build tools (Vite or similar)
• Knowledge in using version control (GitLab)
• Experience integrating React frontend into a legacy PHP codebase
• Fluent in English – verbal and written
• Enjoyment for website applications and interest in modern digital topics
• The capability of working independently and carefully as well as together with a team, paired with a problem-solving attitude
• Creativity, flexibility, quick thinking, and the capability of working in an agile team, experience in working with Scrum is a plus
• Presence in Berlin is required
